Description

As part of an Innovation Hub with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Connector Technology, this project focused on designing and visualizing potential autonomous vehicle integration strategies for Newark Airport. The project aimed to reimagine airport infrastructure for improved passenger connectivity and sustainability. Using Rhino and V-Ray, I developed 3D visualizations of proposed designs, illustrating how autonomous shuttles and adaptive infrastructure could enhance operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.

In addition to the 3D models, I created an ArcGIS StoryMap that provided an in-depth narrative of the current infrastructure and potential future scenarios. This interactive tool highlighted cost-effective strategies for improving airport operations, showcasing how autonomous technology could transform the airport experience for passengers. The project was presented to the Chief Development Officer and supported discussions around sustainable mobility and strategic infrastructure investments, serving as a foundation for future technology integration at Port Authority facilities.
